Kaleb, warehouse worker: ”Coming back to WFI was an easy decision, it felt like coming home”

The next addition to present in our warehouse team is not a completely new player – we are welcoming back Kaleb Nilsson, who is making a comeback in the WFI jersey, now full-time. Kaleb first joined us as an intern back in 2021 and worked part-time with both warehouse and assembly during his high school years. That is why we are especially happy that, since September 2025, he is back in team WFI!

From intern to warehouse worker
Kaleb’s journey at WFI started back in ninth grade with a one-week internship. Just a week later, he began working part-time in the warehouse and assembly, a role he returned to during every school break. After graduating in 2025, he decided to try something new – but since September he is back at our warehouse in Gnosjö.

– When I got the opportunity to come back to WFI, this time on full-time, it was an easy yes for me. It felt like coming home. Stepping back into the warehouse, knowing where everything is and meeting colleagues I already know, it just felt comfortable. Especially since I have known two of the guys, Alfred and Anton, for a long time. We play football together three times a week and now grab pizza together every Thursday too, Kaleb says.

Part of a growing warehouse team
On a typical day in the warehouse, Kaleb primarily works with picking, packing, and dispatching orders. He is a part of our warehouse team, which handles a large volume of orders every day, where the pace is high, and the focus is on ensuring that every delivery reaches the customer on time.

– The first thing I do when I get to work is grab a coffee, head to my computer, and check the day’s picking list. Then I print some orders and get going with picking, packing, and dispatching. The days fly by, and even if the tasks are similar, it never gets boring. We are a great team – we catch up along the way and help each other out whenever needed. And with the activities we do outside of work as well, it really makes a difference, it is fun to be here! Kaleb concludes.

How would you describe WFI as an employer?
–   Personally, I enjoy working at a smaller, family-like company. I thrive in an environment where everything is accessible, and we have the opportunity to help each other out.

What do you prefer to do in your free time?
–   I do a lot of sports – football, floorball, and padel every week. Besides that, I enjoy traveling, fishing, and hanging out with friends.

Your best memory from WFI so far?
–   We have already done a lot of fun activities, but my best memory has to be when I crushed everyone in the music quiz at the Christmas party.
