– For me and the team, the race is not just about speed and endurance, it is also about precision, structure, and making sure everything works when it really counts. Between each stage, our drivers get time for maintenance, which can be everything from three to fifteen minutes, and the work has to be done both quickly and flawlessly. There is no room for hesitation – every second matters, and wasting time searching for tools is simply not an option, Simon from KTM explains.

– The integrated work surface on top of the tool trolley is invaluable during intense service breaks. We place our tools there while working and can easily wipe the surface clean before moving on to the next stage. Two other features I really appreciate are the holder for spray bottles and the ability to attach hooks for rags or small tools on the side of the trolley, small details that make a big difference when working under time pressure, Simon continues.

In addition to the tool cart, the KTM team also brought along a drawer cabinet from Homeworx.

– In environments like this, where stress levels are high and the only light often comes from a headlamp, keeping equipment organized is absolutely crucial. That is where the drawer cabinet makes a huge difference. Everything, from gloves and cable ties to batteries and tape, has its place, saving both time and energy. We know exactly where everything is when something needs to be replaced or adjusted, Simon continues.
